Ahmedabadi develops rs 1.50 lakh device: Former CM Anandiben’s residence is being cultivated without soil from mobile-laptops in Raj Bhavan in UP
The development of technology is being seen in every field. Technology has also brought about radical changes in the field of agriculture. The youth of Ahmedabad has started a new type of farming with the help of technology. An Ahmedabadi youth by the name of Gaurav Shah has developed a technology that can be cultivated in any corner of the world without soil and using mobile or laptop.
During the Corona period, people became aware of hygiene
During the Corona period, Gaurav Shah, sitting at home, came up with the idea that now people have turned to hygiene. In particular, food and drink are becoming very hygienic and on the other hand, vegetables grown with the use of pesticides and chemical fertilizers are also causing diseases like cancer, so that people can get fresh and naturally grown vegetables if they grow without hygienic and pesticide.
Made the device and started cultivating hydroponics
Gaurav Shah made a device that can be used to know if the crop needs water, heat, cold, fertilizer and other necessities in the field and it can also be given through mobile or laptop. He also started hydroponics farming, which can be done above ground without soil. This farming can also be done in a closed room or on the terrace. This farming requires different things depending on the environment. This cultivation can be done very well in cold climate.
From plant growth to temperature can be found on the Internet
In hydroponics farming the plants are grown in water. Which requires a good environment. This farming does not require the use of pesticides. Monitoring can be done through mobile, in which matters including plant growth, required water, temperature can be known from the internet. Everything you need can be provided with one click. Usually vegetables grow according to the season, while in this crop any vegetable can be grown in any season.
Gaurav Shah sits in the office and operates the farm
Hydroponics farms have been set up by Gaurav Shah at 50 different locations in India. The farm has also been set up at the Raj Bhavan, the residence of Anandiben Patel, Governor of Uttar Pradesh and former Chief Minister of Gujarat. The other farm is operated by Gaurav Shah sitting in his office, but due to security reasons, the Raj Bhavan official has been given access to operate the Raj Bhavan farm.
It is necessary to bring the required device according to the environment
Gaurav Shah in a conversation with Divyabhaskar said that this type of farming provides fresh vegetables without pesticides. In this farm 90% of water is saved, one by one water is rotated. Any vegetable or fruit can be grown even in the off season. These farming devices come in 1 to 1.50 lakhs. From which mobile farming can be done, when setting up a large farm, there is a separate cost for bringing the necessary devices according to the environment.
Similar farming is practiced in Canada and Europe
Gaurav Shah further said that this technology is popular all over the world, especially in cold regions like Canada and Europe where similar farming is done. This technology is new in India. We have set up more than 50 farms in one year alone.
What is the hydroponics method?
Hydroponics is the original Greek word, in which hydro means water and ponics means labor, i.e. growing fruits, flowers and vegetables in water instead of soil is called hydroponics. According to this method, only 10% more water is required than land. Once the setup is made from a special type of pipeline, only the nutrients and the plant are negligible for its maintenance. This plant can be grown on the balcony or in the attic of the house. The method is being used in Israel, Germany, the United States and China.
How to cultivate hydroponics?
To do soil free farming you need essential nutrients, sand, gravel, perlite etc. In which a pot, hose tank, pipe, bag etc. is used in such a way that the flow of water is always maintained as the essential nutrients are also available to the plant along with the water.
Training must be taken before starting hydroponics cultivation, through which it is known which type of plant they are going to plant or which type of cultivation you want to cultivate will require nutrition. How to make oxygen available to plant roots. What type of setup should be applied for planting and what crop will require what temperature.
