Weather alert:Severe heat is about to fall in Mumbai, Meteorological Department issued alert
With the rapid increase in temperature in Mumbai, there may be heat waves. The Meteorological Department has issued an orange and yellow alert. Along with this, it has been advised to leave the house only if necessary in 2 days.
Mumbai: The Meteorological Department has warned of heat wave in all areas of Konkan including Mumbai. According to the Meteorological Department, the sea air is running late due to the north-west hot and dry wind. Therefore, there is a possibility of heat wave in the coastal areas of Maharashtra including Mumbai. In the alert issued by the Meteorological Department, it has been said that till March 16, heat wave conditions will prevail in Palghar, Thane, Mumbai, Raigad, Ratnagiri and Sindhudurg districts.
Mumbai (Mumbai Heat Wave) Situation: India Meteorological Department chief Jayant Sarkar said that we have issued a heat wave warning in many districts of Maharashtra. That is, between March 15 and March 16, there will be severe heat in many places. During this time, if precautions are not taken, then people can get caught in the heat. According to Mumbai’s IMD (India Meteorological Department) chief Dr. Jayant Sarkar, a severe heat warning has been issued for the areas of North Konkan.
In many districts, the heat can break its records. For the last ten days, an increase in temperature is being recorded in Mumbai every day. According to the department, a heat wave warning has been issued for the next two days. On March 15, an orange alert has been issued for Mumbai, Thane, Palghar and Raigad, while on March 16, a yellow alert has been issued for these districts. While there will be a yellow alert for Ratnagiri and Sindhudurg on both the days.
