In Uttar Pradesh, the people again handed over the reins of power to the BJP. The BJP alliance won 273 seats out of 403 seats in the state and secured a clear majority. The SP alliance has got 125 seats. Two more BSP had to be satisfied with one seat in the account of Congress. Two seats went to others. Along with this, Yogi Adityanath is the first full-term CM in 71 years, who will hold power for the second consecutive time.
AAP creates history in Punjab
Aam Aadmi Party has created history in the assembly elections of Punjab. AAP (AAP) has got a thumping majority in 92 seats out of 117 seats. Congress has become the second largest party after 18 seats. Bahujan Samaj Party got 1 seat, BJP 2 seats, Independents got 1 seat, Akali Dal had to satisfy with just 3 seats.
BJP government in Uttarakhand too
BJP’s flag waved in Uttarakhand too. The BJP won 47 seats out of the total 70 seats in the state. Congress got 19 seats. Bahujan Samaj Party got two seats and independent candidates won two seats. There was a huge victory for the BJP but the Chief Minister of the state Pushkar Singh Dhami could not save his seat. Now BJP will have to find a fourth Chief Minister within 12 months.
BJP also won in Goa, Manipur
BJP will form government for the third time in Goa. Won the flag of victory in 20 out of 40 seats in the state. The BJP fell one seat behind the majority, but has been supported by the Maharashtrawadi Gomantak Party (MGP) and independents. Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) also won 2 seats in Goa. Not open account of TMC. On the other hand, BJP will form the government again in Manipur, the party has won 32 seats here. Congress got only five seats.
Demand for change arose in Congress
