Talking about the total number of infected people in the country so far, it has increased to 3,57,07,727. The vaccination figure has crossed 151 crores.

Health workers, frontline work, sick elderly people start taking precautionary doses

After the increasing threat of new variant Omicron of Corona and the announcement of elections in five states, the precautionary dose has started in the country from today. This third dose of corona vaccine is being given as a booster dose. Prime Minister Narendra Modi had announced the precautionary dose only on 25 December last month. This third dose is currently being given to health workers and frontline workers as well as senior citizens suffering from serious diseases.

Mandaviya will talk to the CMs of five states today

In view of the alarming pace of corona infection, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya will interact with the health ministers of five states and one union territory today. Official sources gave this information. According to the information, Mandaviya will communicate through digital medium with the health ministers of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Goa, Gujarat and Maharashtra and Union Territories of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu.
