These states include Rajasthan, Haryana, Chandigarh, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Sikkim, West Bengal and the northeastern states of Manipur, Assam, Nagaland, Tripura, Arunachal Pradesh. . and includes Meghalaya. Earlier, heavy rains have wreaked havoc in Andhra Pradesh, Odisha and Telangana for the last two days. Nine people have died in Telangana. The railway track between Samudram and Mahbubabad was washed away. Due to which all trains have been stopped on the Delhi-Vijaywara route. South Central Railway has canceled 99 trains and diverted 54. All primary schools in the state will remain closed today.

While keeping in view possible floods, 17,000 people from 294 villages in five districts of Andhra Pradesh have been shifted to safer places. Also 600 people trapped in flood affected areas have been rescued. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah spoke to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and inquired about the situation arising due to rains and floods in their states. He assured all possible help.

A flood warning has been issued in Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has reviewed the flood situation and ordered precautionary measures and all possible help to the stranded people. State Home Minister Vanglapudi Anita said 107 rehabilitation centers have been set up in NTR, Krishna, Bapatla, Guntur and Palanadu districts for people evacuated from water-logged areas. Nine people have died so far. On the other hand, flood warning has been issued in Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat. It has been raining continuously for the past several days, due to which the administration has issued a flood alert. People are being shifted from low-lying areas to safer places.
99 trains cancelled, 54 diverted
South Central Railway canceled a total of 99 trains and diverted 54 on Sunday. The routes of trains which have been changed include Danapur-Bangalore, Nizamuddin-Kanyakumari, CST Mumbai-Bhubaneswar and Tambaram-Hyderabad Express. All primary and secondary schools in Telangana have been instructed to remain closed on Monday.
