The temperature can be as high as 44 degrees in the plains of the Ganges River. In parts of Gujarat, the temperature is likely to be around 43 degrees in parts of central Gujarat, 43 degrees in North Gujarat and 42 degrees in Saurashtra. Apart from this, cyclones may occur in coastal areas in late May and early June.
On the other hand, the Meteorological Department has predicted rains in the state for two more days, but after this the weather is likely to remain dry and the temperature will rise.
