According to IMD, this depression will move northwestwards towards the Odisha-West Bengal coast and turn into a deep depression in the next 24 hours. East and West Midnapore, North and South 24 Parganas and Jhargram districts are likely to receive heavy rains between September 9-10, while other districts of South Bengal may receive light to moderate rains.
