Meghmaher / Meghraja will break in these states including Gujarat, Uttarakhand today, IMD has alerted

The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rain in several states of the country on Friday. According to the Met department, rain is likely in Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Gujarat, Chhattisgarh, West Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha and Marathwada till August 25.

Monsoon is active in many states of India. According to the forecast made by the Meteorological Department, rain is likely in many other states including Delhi, UP, Rajasthan, Bihar, Jharkhand today. Heavy rains have affected life in many states including Tripura, Manipur and Rajasthan. Apart from this, the Meteorological Department has also predicted heavy rains in Kerala, Assam and Lakshadweep today.

Where will it rain today?

Parts of Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Sikkim, West Assam, West Bengal and Jharkhand may receive moderate to heavy rain today. Besides Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, Vidarbha, North Andhra Pradesh, East Rajasthan, Konkan, Goa and Lakshadweep, light to moderate rain may occur with heavy rain at few places. Northeast India, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Gujarat, Marathwada, Coastal Karnataka, Kerala, Andaman-Nicobar Islands and Telangana may experience light to moderate rains.

There will be heavy rain here

According to the Meteorological Department, Arunachal Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal, Odisha, Sikkim, Jharkhand are likely to receive heavy rainfall between August 23 and 28. According to the Meteorological Department, light to moderate rain may occur in East and West Uttar Pradesh, West Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Haryana-Chandigarh, Delhi, Jammu-Kashmir-Ladakh-Gilgit-Baltistan-Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh from August 23 to 25. Heavy rain is likely at some places.

Arunachal Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal, Odisha, Sikkim, Jharkhand and heavy rains are likely between August 23 and 28.

Heavy winds will blow, rain will occur

Rainy activity will continue in South India as well. Heavy rain is likely over Telangana, North Interior Karnataka, Kerala and Mahe during the next 24 hours. Gusts of 50-60 kmph to 70 kmph are likely over Kerala and Lakshadweep islands during the next 24 hours.

There will be rain in Gujarat too

The Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted rain in Gujarat till August 27. It is due to cyclonic circulation, due to which most of the districts of Gujarat will receive heavy rainfall. Fishermen have also been warned not to venture into the sea. According to the Meteorological Department, winds will blow at a speed of 40 kilometers per hour in coastal areas during this time.
