Hurricane Mocha will bring devastation? Two states on high alert, know where the danger lies

Cyclone Mocha: The IMD director general said that a favorable signal for a cyclonic storm was given around May 9 but the speed and intensity would be determined after the formation of a low pressure area on May 7.
Cyclone Mocha: Currently, rains are continuing in most of the states of the country and this time the month of May, called the hot month, has started with rainy weather. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has said that initial signs of a cyclone have been found in the Bay of Bengal. Let us tell you that an Indian Meteorological Department Director General Mrityunjay Mohapatra also held a press conference regarding this and the weather system is likely to concentrate in a low pressure area on May 8 and turn into a cyclone on May 9. At the same press conference, he said that the cyclone is expected to move towards the central Bay of Bengal.
It is to be noted that while informing on Wednesday, the Meteorological Department office said that initial signs of a cyclone have been detected in the southeast Bay of Bengal. Due to which fishermen have been warned not to go to this area. The IMD chief said that winds of 40-50 km per hour are likely to blow in the region in case of a cyclone. Mohapatra said that Cyclone Mocha has been contained.
Elaborating on this, he said that the purpose of providing information about the cyclone is to warn fishermen and people associated with shipping. However, people need not panic. May and June are considered summer cyclone months, while September, October and November are monsoon cyclone months. Odisha’s Special Relief Commissioner Satyavrat Sahu said on Wednesday that the state government has already alerted the district magistrates of 18 coastal and adjoining districts and officials of 11 divisions in view of the weather conditions.
