Low-cost carrier GO First has banned new bookings for the next two days amid fleet issues and shortage of funds. The airline has informed the Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) about this. GoFirst Airlines has informed the DGCA that all flights on May 3 and 4 will remain cancelled. According to news agency ANI, the Director General of Civil Aviation while informing about this on Tuesday said that GoFirst Airlines has informed the DGCA that all its flights will be canceled on 3rd and 4th.

One of the people aware of the case said, “The airline has no inventory of tickets for the next two days. Hence, fresh bookings for the next two days’ travel are not available on the ticket booking platform.” According to Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) figures, the airline’s market share fell to 6.9 percent in March this year compared to 9.8 percent a year ago.

According to data from DGCA’s website flightradar24, the airline has 59 aircraft in its fleet. Another person said, “Many flights have also been canceled for May 3 as per the current status of flight operations. Many morning flights were also running late today.” Meanwhile, people who booked tickets for GoFirst flights have expressed their displeasure on social media.
