Yuvraj Singh heaps praise on recovering Rishabh Pant, calls him 'champion'

It was on the same day that his car overturned after hitting a divider on the Delhi-Dehradun highway while on his way to give a New Year’s surprise to a family in Roodkee. Some have called him a warrior while some have asked him to return to the field with more strength. Some fans have advised him to be extra careful while driving from now on. Rishabh Pant is recovering

As for Rishabh Pant, he met with an accident while he was on his way to Roodkee. His car was overspeeding and the incident took place after taking a bend. When the car overturned, the locals helped to pull it out. He was immediately rushed to a hospital in Dehradun, where after some treatment he was airlifted to Mumbai’s Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital for ligament tear surgery.

Rishabh Pant has not fully recovered and is yet to undergo a surgery. He is sidelined indefinitely and will not play in IPL 2023. There is talk that the captaincy of Delhi Capitals will be handed over to David Warner in his absence.
