Double blow of inflation: Amul milk price increased by Rs 3 per litre, know the price of which bag?

People are disturbed by inflation. The prices of basic necessities of life are increasing rapidly. Prices of vegetables, pulses, milk, edible oil have skyrocketed. Amul hiked the price of milk by Rs 3 as it was due. Due to which the budget of the housewives has been disrupted. On the one hand, oil prices skyrocketed, on the other, milk. Rising prices have broken the backs of housewives. As the prices of all things are increasing one after the other, the question of how to run the house is bothering the common citizen. Amul has increased the price of milk.

Increase in milk price by Rs 3 per litre


Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation Limited informed on Friday that the price of Amul milk has been increased by Rs 3 per litre. The price of each type of pouched milk has been increased by Rs 3. The new milk prices will be applicable from February 3.

According to the statement, the price of Amul Gold will be Rs 66 per litre, Amul Taja will be Rs 54 per litre, Amul Cow’s milk will be Rs 56 per liter and Amul A2 Buffalo milk will be priced at Rs 70 per litre. However, this price hike will not be applicable in Gujarat for now. Amul’s milk price hike will be applicable in Maharashtra, Delhi and Kolkata.


An increase of Rs.2 per liter was made on August 17

Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (Amul Federation) through which milk and milk products are marketed under the Amul brand. By him, the price of milk across Gujarat, Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, West Bengal and all other markets on August 17, 2022 has increased by Rs. 2 was increased. The price hike was implemented due to increase in operation cost and milk production cost.
