New Delhi, Tech Desk. Twitter today suspended the accounts of journalists who cover and frequently write about Elon Musk. These include journalists from several media houses including The Washington Post, New York Times, Mashable, CNN and Substack. The accounts of these journalists were put on the block list late on Thursday night.

The Twitter accounts of journalists of publications including Washington Post, New York Times and many were blocked and put on inactive lists late on Thursday night. His tweets are also no longer visible.

Twitter’s notice states that it ‘suspends accounts that violate the Twitter Rules’. According to media reports, Twitter has also suspended the feed of social media site Mastodon, which had earlier posted a link to an account on its site on its Twitter page.
