AIMIM spokesperson Waris Pathan informed about this and said that this evening when Asaduddin Owaisi and the AIMIM team were traveling from Ahmedabad to Surat in the Vande Bharat Express train. Meanwhile, some unknown people threw stones and broke the window glass of the train. He has also shared pictures with information about this by tweeting.
It is to be noted that AIMIM was in discussion earlier too due to making Kaushika Parmar its candidate. Danilimda seat has been a stronghold of Congress. Shailesh Parmar of Congress has won two assembly elections in 2012 and 2017. However, this time he will have to face AIMIM’s candidate Kaushika Parmar besides BJP and AAP. Danilimda seat election will be interesting. Because, this time AIMIM has fielded a woman candidate Kaushik Parmar as an election candidate.
Asaduddin Owaisi’s party AIMIM is also gearing up to contest over 40 of Gujarat’s 182 assembly seats. For this, the party has fielded candidates on three seats in Ahmedabad and two in Surat. Earlier it was stated by his party that AIMIM will contest from 5 seats in Ahmedabad city.
According to the state president of the party, Sabir Kabliwala, Owaisi’s party will contest on 65 seats in Gujarat. It has decided to field a candidate on five seats in Ahmedabad. It includes Jamalpur, Khadia, Bapunagar, Dariyapur, Vejalpur, Danilimda. We will field candidates from 65 seats in Gujarat. Candidates will be decided soon.
