Crematoriums and cemeteries in Morbi fell short

Corona-like situation for cremation in all four crematoriums of Morbi

Morbi: With the death toll reaching 140 in the suspension bridge collapse tragedy, Morbi’s crematoriums and graveyards are running short.

Yesterday, October 30, 2018, Morbi’s Shan Samo historical suspension bridge collapsed, killing 140 people. Similarly, it is known that there is a waiting situation in the graveyard where many relatives of Muslim families also died in yesterday’s accident.

It may be mentioned that, following the hanging bridge tragedy, a corona-like situation is being seen in Morbi and currently a large number of people are coming to Lilapar Road, Samakantha, Vishipra Nadi cremation ground and Satwara Samaj managed cremation ground since morning for the funeral.

Seven dead bodies were brought for last rites at Kantha cremation ground in Sama this morning, in which two children of the same family, Mitraj Singh Arvind Singh Jadeja, age 10 and Raviraj Singh Hitendra Singh Jadeja, age 11, were brought for last rites. Went there where five members of the family survived but unfortunately both the children died.
