ABVP activists have protested against the attempt to create suspicion by installing CCTV instead of raising suspicions. A complaint has been sent to the college administration and demanded to remove the CCTV within 48 hours. If it is not removed, there is a threat of protest along with fierce agitation.


CCTV of suspicion instead of suspicion in college

Atmanand Saraswati Science College i.e. Dharuka College campus has come up at Kapodra in Varachha area of ​​Surat. In this college, the administration has installed CCTV in the boys hostel. So far we have seen CCTVs installed in many different places, but someday no CCTV will be installed in any toilet. But here in the college itself, instead of suspecting the boys, CCTVs have been installed to create suspicion. A wing of the All India Student Council is protesting about it.

The installation of CCTV in the boys hostel of Dharuka College is being opposed by ABVP. ABVP activists arrived to present that the scholarship to the college students has been stopped and is not being received on time. Then he saw this CCTV in the boys hostel of the college. We strongly condemn this operation of the college to install CCTV in the boys hostel. Also, this was considered a very reprehensible incident. In view of this, ABVP submitted a petition to the college administration to immediately remove the CCTV from the boys’ hostel in addition to the issue of student scholarships.


If the CCTV is not removed in 48 hours, there is a threat of fierce agitation

ABVP activist Manoj Jain said, “We went to the college administration to present the issue of the students. Meanwhile, it was found that CCTV was installed in the boys’ toilet. This activity of the college is very reprehensible. In any case, there should be no CCTV cameras that raise suspicion instead of suspicion. We strongly condemn this activity of the college. A petition has been sent to the college administration to remove the CCTV immediately and if the CCTV is not removed within 48 hours, there will be a fierce protest by ABVP in the college and the full responsibility will be on the college administration.
