Serious accident in early morning in Kerala, 9 dead and 38 injured due to heavy collision between two buses

Nine people have died in a horrific accident between two buses in Kerala, while 38 injured have been shifted to hospital for treatment.


A fatal accident has occurred between two buses in Kerala. A tourist bus collided head-on with a Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) bus at Vadakkancherry in Palakkad district of Kerala. 9 people have died in this accident, while 38 people have been injured. The information about this accident has been given by the Minister of State MB Rajesh.

38 injured were admitted to various hospitals

A tourist bus carrying school students hit a Kerala State Road Transport Corporation bus from behind at Vadakkancherry here on Wednesday night. After the collision, the bus was stuck in the swamp. Nine people have died in this Gamkhwar accident. While 38 people have been injured. The injured have been admitted to various hospitals for treatment. Many of the injured are in critical condition.


9 people died in the accident

The deceased include school teacher Vishnu VK, student Anjana Ajith, Emmanuel CS, Dia Rajesh, Chris Winterbourne Thomas, Elna Jose (student), Anoop (22), Rohit Raj (24) and Deepu.

An accident occurred on National Highway 544


The accident took place on National Highway 544 (NH-544). The tourist bus was on its way to Ooty carrying students of Basilios Vidyaniketan Senior Secondary School, Ernakulam. While the superfast bus of Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) was going from Kottarakkara to Coimbatore.
