Pashankusha Ekadashi 2022 : Knowingly or unknowingly, Pashankusha Ekadashi vow will bring blessings of healthy longevity!

Once Lord Krishna told Dharmaraja Yudhishthira about the glory of Pashankusha Ekadashi and said that this fast is the destroyer of all sins. It is believed that if a Jataka fasts on Pashankusha Ekadashi, he gets the same results as performing Ashwamegha Yajna and Surya Yajna.

The fast of Pashankusha Ekadashi is considered very important. As mentioned in the Puranic texts, doing the Ekadashi vrat of Pashankusha Ekadashi gives the same results as penance. The native who performs this vow attains moksha by enjoying all happiness and wealth. According to the Hindu Panchang, the Ekadashi of Shukal Paksha of Aso month is celebrated as Pashankusha Ekadashi. According to the epic Mahabharata, once Lord Krishna told Dharmaraja Yudhishthira about the glory of Pashankusha Ekadashi and said that this Ekadashi fast is the destroyer of all sins. It is believed that if a Jataka fasts on Pashankusha Ekadashi, he gets the same results as performing Ashwamegha Yajna and Surya Yajna.

After taking bath and meditation in the morning on the day of the fast, first resolve to complete the fast by meditating on Shri Hari Vishnu.

Food should not be taken even on fasting days.

On the next day, only after completing the fast, food should be taken.

Rice should not be consumed on fasting day even by mistake.

After taking the resolution, place the idol or picture of Lord Vishnu on a yellow cloth in the north-east direction and perform puja.

Do not use rice in the worship of Lord Vishnu.

Instead of rice, take a kalash filled with Ganges water on a heap of wheat before the Lord and put betel leaves, betel leaves and coconut on it.

Make kankuthi ૐ and swastika on the kalash. Offer yellow flowers and yellow fruits dear to Lord Vishnu on it.

If possible, do a night vigil on this Ekadashi and remember the Lord’s name.

On the second day of the fast, give food to the Brahmin.

On the day of fasting, the seeker should donate energy as usual.

Fruit of Pashankusha Ekadashi

Fasting on Pashankusha Ekadashi destroys all sins and the faster becomes a partaker of Akshaya Punya.

Lord Vishnu should be worshiped on this Ekadashi day to get the desired fruit.

Through this poojan, a human being attains heaven.

The fruit that a person gets from hard austerities is only obtained by saluting Lord Vishnu who is sleeping on Sheshnaga in the milky ocean on the day of Ekadashi.

A person who takes this vow does not have to suffer the pain of Yama.

The fruit of a thousand Ashwamegha Yajnas and a hundred Rajasuya Yajnas is not even equal to one-sixteenth of the fruit of this one Ekadashi, that is, there is no holy day in the world equal to this Ekadashi Vrat.

If a person fasts on Ekadashi even unknowingly, he does not get Yama Darshan.

A person who fasts on Pashankusha Ekadashi of Shukal Paksha of Aso month attains Hari Lok.

A person who donates land, cow, food, cloth, umbrella on this day of Ekadashi does not get darshan of Yamaraja.

A person who performs this Ekadashi enjoys a healthy long life in the world, complete with sons and wealth, and finally moves to the heavenly world.
