The death of Raju Srivastava has caused an atmosphere of mourning. Prime Minister Modi has also condoled his demise. He has tweeted about this.

The country’s most famous and popular comedian Raju Srivastava has passed away. Raju Srivastava breathed his last on September 21 after being admitted to Delhi’s AIIMS Hospital for 42 days. He suffered a heart attack while running on a treadmill in the early morning of August 10. Since then he was fighting a life and death battle on a ventilator at AIIMS. Raju was unconscious from the first day. His body was not responding. Although his health improved a little after two days, but later the doctors gave an answer to the family.


Doctors tried their best to save and revive Raju Srivastava but oxygen was not reaching his brain. He was constantly unconscious. He fell into a coma. Raju Srivastava’s heart also stopped working. All the people from the industry and crores of fans were constantly praying for the good health of Raju Srivastava but alas the Gajodhar Bhaiyya who made everyone laugh has left behind him in floods of tears.

Declared brain dead, no oxygen reaching the brain

Raju Srivastava was declared brain dead by the doctors and said that his heart was also not working properly. According to reports, even oxygen was not reaching the upper part of Raju Srivastava’s head. Raju Srivastava’s lower body was functioning and hence he was kept on ventilator support. He was also being given oxygen support. But to no avail. Doctors responded to Raju Srivastava’s family.


Raju was brought to the hospital in an unconscious state

When Raju Srivastava was brought to AIIMS on August 10 after suffering a heart attack, his condition was critical and he was not conscious. It is said that he was somehow brought back to consciousness with the help of CPR. After this Raju Srivastava underwent angioplasty and 2 stents were also inserted in his arteries. However, Raju’s health did not improve even after that and he remained unconscious. After this he was taken to ventilator.
