Tritiya Tithi of Shukla Paksha of the month of Bhadrapada will begin on Monday, August 29 at 03:20 PM and continue till August 30 at 03:33 PM.
Hartalika will be on 30th August based on Teej Udaya date. On this day 06:05 to 08:38 in the morning and 06:33 to 08:51 in the evening will be the auspicious time for worship.

– Vrat Nirjala should be done on Hartalika III (Kevadatrij). Do not eat or drink anything during this time. It is said that if someone eats or drinks anything during the fast, he has to assume the form of a monkey in the next birth. Pregnant women or sick women can eat fruit.
– It is said that one who starts this fast has to do this fast till he dies. Means you cannot skip this fast midway. At the same time, if there is a Sutak in the house or if one cannot perform the puja due to some other reason, then the Vrat should be done.
– Suvu is prohibited in the Vrat of the Hartalika III. Those who fast neither sleep during the day nor sleep during the night. In this Vrat one should stay awake at night and worship the Lord.
