Commonwealth Games 2022: India got off to a good start on the last day of the Commonwealth Games. India’s star badminton player PV Sindhu has won the gold medal in the women’s singles final.




India’s star shuttler PV Sindhu has won the gold medal in women’s singles at the Commonwealth Games. In the final, PV Sindhu defeated Mitchell Lee of Canada to win the gold medal for the first time at the Commonwealth Games. PV Sindhu won the gold medal by defeating Canada’s Mitchell Ley in the final 21-15 in the first set and 21-13 in the second set. This is India’s 19th gold medal in Commonwealth Games-2022.




Sindhu’s first Commonwealth Games gold medal in singles




This is the first gold medal of Commonwealth Games for India’s star shuttler Sindhu, who won silver and bronze medals at the Olympics. PV Sindhu has already won bronze and silver medals in the Commonwealth Games. But for the first time she has managed to win gold.
