Now Uber cab can be booked through WhatsApp without downloading the app, know how to book

Now you are also being given the facility to book a cab on the instant messaging app WhatsApp. Uber rides can now be booked on WhatsApp. Cab company Uber is soon going to roll out this new option for WhatsApp. Uber is gearing up to launch this new cab booking service for Delhi-NCR from the first week of August. The feature was first tested in Lucknow city in December last year. Let us tell you that if this experiment is successful, then you will not need to download the Uber app separately. You can book a cab using WhatsApp only.

According to Uber, users who book cabs through WhatsApp will be provided with the same security as those who book a ride directly on the Uber app. Even after booking a cab through WhatsApp, the driver’s name or information like driver and license plate will be sent to the users. Also, based on the location, the pickup point information will be sent to the driver. Also, the user’s identity will be kept confidential while talking to the driver. This means that the driver will not be able to see the WhatsApp number of the users.

How to run Uber on WhatsApp?

• You have to send a message on your WhatsApp number +91 7292000002 by writing ‘Hi’.
• After messaging, you will be asked the pickup and drop location in the chatbot.
• After providing location information, you will be provided with ride information, including the fare and the driver’s expected arrival time.
• Once you OK, you will be sent driver information and OTP.
• After this you can enter the OTP and start the ride.
