110 talukas of the state received significant rainfall, Chotaudepur's Kwant received the highest rainfall of 6.5 inches.

The Meteorological Department has predicted some heavy, some light to moderate rain for the next five days. As per the forecast, rain is also falling in many areas of the state.




Rainy weather (Monsoon 2022) has set in the state again. In the last 24 hours, about 110 talukas of the state have received significant rain. Chhotaudepur’s quantum has received the highest rainfall of 6.5 inches. On the other hand, the Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rain in the state. Some heavy, some light to moderate rain is likely for the next five days. As per the forecast, rain is also falling in many areas of the state. Rajkot, Amreli, Dang, Junagadh have received good rains.

In the last 24 hours in Gujarat, about 110 talukas of the state have received significant rain. The highest 6.5 inches of rain has fallen in Chhotaudepur. So, 5 inches of rain has fallen in Jalalpur of Navsari, 4.5 inches of rain in Wadali of Sabarkantha. 3.5 inches rained in Gadda of Botad, 3 inches each in Kapdwanj of Kheda, Junagadh, Palsana of Surat. A total of 50 talukas of the state have received more than 1 inch of rain. The state receives an average seasonal rainfall of 73 inches.

Heavy rain in Junagadh

On the other hand, there has been heavy rain in Junagadh Panthak on Thursday. Two inches of rain fell in two hours. Girnar and Datar mountains have received 4 inches of rain in two hours. Junagadh has been flooded with good rain. The water falls from Mount Girnar created spectacular scenery. The flowing water on the steps of Girnar created a spectacular scene. At present, nature is flourishing due to monsoons, while the rains make for beautiful scenery.

On the other hand, Meghraja has arrived again after a long break in the beautiful region of Saputara. In the evening, torrential rains broke out in Saputara. The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains in the state. Some heavy, some light to moderate rain is likely for the next five days. While heavy rain is forecast in Anand, Vadodara, Bharuch tomorrow. Heavy rain will occur in Navsari, Valsad, Daman, Junagadh, Amreli, Girsomanath on August 7. While heavy to very heavy rain is forecast in Saurashtra on August 8 and 9.
