Birmingham: The Commonwealth Games 2022 begin in Birmingham from Thursday (July 28). The opening ceremony will also include a delegation of Indian players and this time the flag bearer will be star badminton player PV Sindhu. Javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra was the flag bearer here, but due to injury, he is now not participating in the Commonwealth Games.
The Indian Olympic Association announced on Wednesday that the association has named star shuttler PV Sindhu as its flag bearer. PV Sindhu, a two-time Olympic champion, will lead the delegation at the opening ceremony in Birmingham.
Neeraj Chopra was injured

Neeraj Chopra informed on social media that he will not be able to participate in the Commonwealth due to injury.
