Ahmedabadites will soon get metro train facility, one more metro train has been trialled

Trial run of metro train from Subhash Bridge to Sabarmati

Metro train operations are running in full swing in Ahmedabad. Then a trial run of metro train was done from Subhash Bridge to Sabarmati. The citizens felt happy after seeing the scenes of the trial run of the train. This view was seen from Subhash Bridge. Then, it will not be surprising if Ahmedabad gets the gift of metro train in the month of August. Because at present the operation of phase-2 of metro train is running on war footing. It is important that the total cost of Ahmedabad Metro Rail Project Phase-2 is Rs.5.384 crore. The length of Corridor-1 of Phase-II is 22.8 km from Motera Stadium to Mahatma Mandir. It is planned to be connected with Ahmedabad airport in future.

A trial run of the metro train was conducted on the Thalatej route

Importantly, the metro train work in the western part of the city is nearing completion. A few days ago, a trial run of the metro train was conducted on the Thaltej route. The 40 km corridor is nearing completion. Hence, the metro train route to Thalatej may start soon. Hence it can be said that Ahmedabad residents will get a big gift before the assembly elections. It may be mentioned that earlier a trial run of the metro train was conducted on the Gandhi Bridge on the Sabarmati River.

Metro train trial run from Gyaspur depot to Motera on 20 May 2022

It may be mentioned that the first phase of the metro train includes from Gyaspur depot to Motera metro station. The Gyaspur Depot work has been completed and the trial run of the metro train from Gyaspur Depot to Jivaraj was started in March, 2022. After that it was extended and trialled up to Vijayanagar. On 20 May 2022, a trial run of the metro train was conducted from Gyaspur depot to Motera metro station.

Two Corridors in Ahmedabad Metro Rail Project Phase-I

During this trial, the metro train passed through APMC, Jivaraj, Rajivnagar, Shreyas, Paldi, Gandhigram, Old High Court, Usmanpura, Vijayanagar, Wadj, Ranip, AEC, Sabarmati metro station and reached Motera metro station. Let us tell you that there are two corridors in Ahmedabad Metro Rail Project Phase-1. One is the North-South Corridor and the other is the East-West Corridor. North-South Corridor is from Gyaspur Depot to Motera, East-West Corridor is from Thalatej Village to Vastral Village.
