Murder of BJP leader in Karnataka: Brutally killed by an ax in front of the shop, the attackers came on a bike

In June too, a BJP leader was stabbed to death.

BJP youth leader Praveen Nettaru was brutally murdered in Karnataka’s Dakshina Kannada district on Tuesday. Nettaru was the district secretary of the BJP Yuva Morcha. Police have registered a case. However, the reason for the murder is not yet known.

On the other hand BJP workers have started protests demanding arrest. There was a huge uproar on the road late at night. The Chief Minister has said that the accused will be arrested soon.

A business leader was killed

The incident took place in front of the shop of the deceased BJP worker in Bellary area. Praveen, who runs a poultry shop, was returning home after closing the shop when the assailants came on a bike and blocked his way. When the shop was closed there were not many people, so no one could come to help. He was seriously injured in the ax attack and died on the way to the hospital.

After this incident, anger is being seen among the BJP workers of the district. Activists hit the streets late at night demanding justice for Praveen. The activists raised slogans of ‘We want justice’. Meanwhile, he demanded the arrest of the accused.

CM Bommai expressed grief

Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai has expressed grief over the killing of BJP youth leader Praveen. He tweeted that the killing of our party worker in Dakshina Kannada district is despicable. The culprits will be arrested at the earliest. Legal punishment will also be given to the accused.

A BJP leader was also killed in June

BJP leader Mohammad Anwar was stabbed to death in Karnataka on June 23. He was killed by unidentified bike-borne assailants in Gauri Kaluve area. Mohammad Anwar was general secretary of BJP. BJP MP Shobha Karandlaj said that extremists were behind this murder.
