Monkeypox Alert: 8 beds have been prepared in Ahmedabad Civil Hospital in D9 Ward, so that if any case of monkeypox occurs in Gujarat, immediate treatment can be provided.

Preparations started in Civil

So far, approximately 16 thousand monkeypox patients have been registered in 75 countries of the world. Out of which 4 cases have been reported in India. The government has also announced guidelines regarding monkeypox virus. Ahmedabad Civil Hospital has also been alerted. Steps have been taken by the hospital system to have arrangements in case of any case. In Ahmedabad Civil Hospital, 8 beds have been prepared in D9 ward, so that if any case of monkeypox occurs in Gujarat, immediate treatment can be provided. Also, caution should be taken so that the infection cannot spread to other people.

Ahmedabad Civil Hospital Superintendent Doctor Rakesh Joshi said about this that Monkeypox is a virus that spreads from animals to humans, unlike Corona, it does not spread through air. There is relief news as no case has been registered in Gujarat yet. But as part of vigilance, the system has been alerted in Ahmedabad Civil Hospital. In future, instead of 8 beds, if required, 18 beds facility will be created.

Be alert if blisters appear on the body

He appealed to the people and said that if anyone has fever, blisters on the body, pain in the throat, they should contact a doctor. Symptoms of monkeypox are seen in two to three weeks, like corona, if we wear a mask and follow the guidelines, we can stay safe.

WHO declared an emergency

WHO has declared a global health emergency due to the increase in monkeypox infection in different countries of the world including India. Yes, the World Health Organization has declared the outbreak of monkeypox a global health emergency. So after the corona epidemic, the threat of another big epidemic has started to loom over the world and the WHO has declared a global health emergency so that the whole world becomes alert and goes into alert mode to prevent the transmission of monkeypox.

Monkeypox virus has spread in more than 60 countries of the world. Now the World Health Organization has made a big announcement about this disease. The WHO said that the risk of monkeypox has been observed globally. The risk of this deadly virus is highest in European countries. Looking at the current times, it is not wrong to say that there is a clear threat of international proliferation in the near future. However, the risk of interference with international traffic is currently low. Given all the risks, WHO has declared monkeypox a global public health emergency.
