Draupadi Murmu gets a one-sided lead in the counting of votes of MPs
The counting of votes for the Presidential election has been completed in the Parliament House. 15 votes were declared invalid. The Secretary General of Rajya Sabha came in front of the media and told that total 748 valid votes were counted. Their total value is 5,23,600. Out of these, Draupadi Murmu got 540 i.e. 3,78,000 votes while Yashwant Sinha got 208 i.e. 1,43,600 votes. The votes will now be counted from the state legislatures.
