According to the meteorological department, heavy to very heavy rains are expected in Gujarat from July 7 to 10. The Chief Minister gave an in-depth review of the disaster preparedness regarding the heavy rains in Gir Somnath, Junagadh, Devbhoomi Dwarka, Surat, Navsari, Valsad, Porbandar and other districts and gave necessary instructions to deploy NDRF and SDRF teams in the respective districts for relief operations in the near future.
