According to the meteorological department, scattered rains have been forecast in Saurashtra and Kutch. There will be scattered rains in the state till July 1 and after July 1, there will be heavy rains in many parts of the state. Rainfall is forecast in South Gujarat from June 30 to July 3. But there is good news for the people of North Gujarat. The meteorological department has forecast heavy rains in North Gujarat after July 1, along with heavy rains in South Gujarat.

According to the meteorological department, rain is likely in Valsad, Navsari, Surat and Daman. After the next 2 days, the rain system will be activated and will bring universal rainfall all over Gujarat. Not only that, Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar may also get rain.

The meteorological department has forecast strong winds along with rains at a speed of 40 kmph across the state, including Saurashtra-Kutch. Kutch, Dahod, Mahisagar and Chhotaudepur districts are also likely to receive heavy rains. Heavy rains are forecast in Aravalli, Banaskantha, Sabarkantha, Patan and Mehsana districts of North Gujarat while torrential rains are forecast in Surat, Valsad and Navsari of South Gujarat.
