LIVE Udaipur Massacre: New VIDEO of Kanaya's killers, fled on bike after murder; The NIA will get custody

A new CCTV footage has surfaced shortly after the murder of Taylor Kanaiyalal. The footage shows the killers Gaus Mohammad and Riaz Jabbar fleeing on motorbikes. The footage clearly shows that there was a rush in the market as soon as the information of the murder was received. People were screaming and running away and the market shops were closing.

The SIT investigation revealed that the killers kept their bikes running so that they could flee immediately after the murder. As word of the murder spread in the market, people started running away.

The Udaipur district court has transferred the case of both the killers to the NIA. The NIA has also filed a petition in the Udaipur court to hand over both the attackers and the murder and other evidence to them. The court may also hear the petition today.

The Jagannath Rathyatra will be taken out at 3 pm today amid curfew in Udaipur. Meanwhile, killers Gaus Mohammad and Riaz Jabba have been shifted from Udaipur to Ajmer High Security Jail.

An NIA team reached Kanpur on Thursday night to investigate the murder and raided several places. The action has been taken here after the Kanpur connection on the basis of documents obtained from the killers. The internet is also off here for the fourth day on Friday. Section 144 has also been imposed to prevent violence.

5 big updates in Udaipur murder case …

1. Police arrested 2 more accused involved in the murder conspiracy late last night. Police arrested the accused named Mohsin and Asif and are interrogating 3 others. A case has been registered under the Arms Act in this massacre.

2. The Rajasthan Government has taken important action to remove the SP and IG range of Udaipur. Praful Kumar, who led the SIT set up to probe the massacre, has been made the new IG.

3. The killers Gaus and Riaz Jabbar have been shifted from Udaipur to Ajmer High Security Jail. Both were brought to Ajmer late at night at 3 p.m. Rathi has been kept in separate barracks for security reasons.

4. Many small towns including Sikar, Dausa, Barmer have been declared closed on Friday. The police are also on alert in view of this. Kota and Alwar will also be closed on July 2.

5. A procession of Lord Jagannath has been taken out at 3 pm today amid curfew in Udaipur. The 7 km long rathyatra will take 8 hours to complete.

NIA does not get terror connection, SIT will also inquire

The NIA said the connection of the terrorist organization behind the incident was not yet clear. The investigation did not find any evidence about this. Now the question is, will the NIA investigate this incident or the state SIT or SOG?
