Udaipur Murder Case Live: Curfew extended in the city, Rajasthan bandh called today, big BJP leaders did not reach the all-party meeting

After the heinous murder in Udaipur, police have been deployed everywhere in the city. Curfew has been imposed in seven police station areas. At the same time, internet is closed for 24 hours in entire Rajasthan.

Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot had called an all-party meeting on Wednesday evening regarding the situation in Rajasthan. Leaders of many parties attended this meeting, but no big leader of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has reached it. Giving information about the all-party meeting, Minister Rajendra Singh Yadav said, Congress, BJP, RLP, CPI, independent and farmer leaders all participated in the meeting. Everyone was of the opinion that this barbaric act should be dealt with by all and the accused should be given the harshest punishment. He said that everyone has agreed to get the matter probed by the NIA.

Rajasthan bandh has been called on 30th June to protest against the killing of Kanhaiyalal. The call for this bandh has been given by BJP and business circles in the state. It has been appealed to the people that all the traders should keep their business establishments closed in protest against the killing of Kanhaiyalal. Here, in view of the tense situation in Udaipur, the administration has extended the curfew for one more day. Now it will be applicable till 12 midnight on 30th June. Internet service will also remain suspended during this time. On the other hand, the constable, who was injured by a sword in Rajsamand, has gone into a coma.
