Recently, the Uttarakhand government has made a big announcement that by the end of July 2022, the ration cards of all ration card holders will be digitized. After the distribution of this digital ration card, all the ration card holders will get many benefits.
Let us tell you that this scheme of digitization of ration card was started from the year 2020 itself. But due to the corona virus epidemic in the middle, this plan could not be completed in the intervening two years. This is the reason that this scheme is being started afresh once again. The government has announced that this new digital ration card will be distributed among all ration card holders by the end of July 2022. It is worth noting that till May 2022, a total of 12 lakh 58 thousand 544 old ration card holders have been distributed this new digital ration card in Uttarakhand.
