At the same time in Patal’s Santalpur taluka 10 more houses were blown away due to heavy rains with strong winds. Fortunately, major casualties were averted. Thus, the next 5 days will see a reversal in the state’s atmosphere amid thunderstorms, with wind speeds of 30 to 40 kmph, although rainfall is unlikely in North Gujarat. Also, a young man from Limbdi taluka has been killed by the lightning of the first rain. A young man was killed in a lightning strike between Jambu and Natwargarh villages of Limbdi taluka at midnight.

The first death in the state from lightning

The atmosphere of Gujarat will change in five days

According to the latest update of the Meteorological Department, the next 5 days will see a big change in the weather in the state. This is because Thunderstorm will affect different parts of the state. In which wind speed can also be 30 to 40 KM per hour. So today in the area including Banaskantha, Ahmedabad its effect will be seen on a large scale. There may be light rain in some areas from today 10th June. So it may rain in some areas of South Gujarat. Rain is also possible in some parts of Saurashtra. Light rain is forecast in Gujarat from today till June 10.

Rain fell in 12 talukas on Tuesday

The impact of Thunder Storm was felt in 5 districts of the state on Tuesday. It rained in 12 talukas of Gujarat yesterday. Some parts of Saurashtra in particular got wet, making the atmosphere pleasant. People breathed a sigh of relief from the heat. Rains were recorded in Amreli, Ahmedabad, Bhavnagar, Surendranagar, Botad. The maximum rainfall of three inches was recorded in Amreli’s Lathi. In North Gujarat, 1.5 inches of rain fell in Ahmedabad’s Dhandhuka. Chuda in Surendranagar received half an inch and Limbdi half an inch.

The leaves flew in Patan

As part of the impact of Thunder Storm, the atmosphere in Patan district changed. Horrific videos of climate change also surfaced, showing scenes of devastation in Varahi in Santalpur taluka. More than 10 houses were blown away in the rain with strong winds. Waghpura including Gadha, Varnosari, Korda, Awal received light rains with strong winds. So – in Zandala village, extensive damage has been reported due to strong winds blowing leaves of raw and lined houses. It is the turn of the landlords to suffer financial loss due to the strong winds. The first pre-monsoon rains caused damage in Patan district. Fortunately, no casualties were reported.

What rain forecast today

According to the meteorological department, there is a possibility of rain in Valsad, Navsari and Daman in South Gujarat. Apart from this, some parts of Amreli and Gir Somnath districts in Saurashtra may receive rains. Humid winds coming from South Gujarat can create rainy weather. Not only that but the impact of hurricanes can also be seen in these areas along with thunderstorms. Notably, this year the country is forecast to receive better rainfall than last year. The Indian Meteorological Department has forecast 103 per cent rainfall in the country this time from June to September.
