VIP entry closed in Kedarnath: Administration's safety alert, all honorable people will be seen like common people

Crowds of devotees have started gathering in Kedarnath Dham of Uttarakhand. In view of this, the administration has banned VIP entry on Friday. The DGP said on Friday that now all VIPs will also have to visit like ordinary people. Only two hours will be given for this. Earlier, 28 people have also died due to lack of proper arrangements.

At the same time, Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Dhami has appealed to the people that those who have any health related problem, they should travel after a few days.

Lakhs of devotees visited in 6 days
The Chardham Yatra, which was closed due to Corona, has started after about two years. Devotees are reaching in large numbers to have darshan. In the last 6 days, about 1 lakh 30 thousand people have visited. For this reason, the administration has banned VIP entry.

Death due to negligence of administration
Before this, many people have also died due to lack of proper arrangements from the administration. 11 sick people were airlifted from Rudprayag and sent to other places. The situation was so bad that there was a situation of stampede and lathi charge. Apart from Kedarnath, the negligence of the administration has also come to the fore in Badrinath and Yamunotri.

only two hours for darshan
The District Magistrate said that all the devotees coming on the Dham Yatra will now have to stand in the same line and wait for darshan. Instructions have also been given to the devotees standing in the queue to have darshan in two hours.

Police deployed for security
Teams of ITBP and NDRF have been deployed in the temple in view of the increasing crowd daily. Along with this, police personnel are also helping people on the roads. There have been some cases of negligence in the past. For this reason, strict measures are being taken.
