Rana Students' Unique Achievement: Earthquake Resistant Building-Island Airport Shows New Face of Infrastructure

Project Fair was held at K.J Institute of Engineering
An exhibition of projects prepared by the final year engineering students as part of the completion of their studies was held at K.J Campus Savli. A total of 47 projects were presented. These include Digital Business Card Maker System, Online Tiffin Service Management, Solar Panel Cleaning System, Island Airport, Dynamic Building, Feasibility Study for Construction of Railway Overbridge, Flood Control Management Projects were presented. The center of attraction in the exhibition was the earthquake resistant model designed by Syed Mohammad, Sejan Moinuddin, Shreyas Patel, Hrithik Rathore and Pratik Thakore.

Island Airport …
The project was prepared by Priyal Shah, Prajapati Kritesh and Yogeshwari Rathore. The population is growing. So space is becoming a big building in place. Due to lack of space, the students used the sea to build an artificial island on it and built an airport there. In which an eco-friendly foundation has been laid to build an airport by erecting a safety wall to withstand disasters like waves. The airport was designed to accommodate more aircraft.

Power Generation by Burning Bio Waste
The project has been prepared by Varun Raulji, Zill Patel and Ravindra Parmar, Omkant Solanki, Aviraj Dodia. There are still power cuts in the country. The students used bio-waste to generate electricity. In which electricity is generated from plant leaves, waste, wood which is burnt. Solar plates can also be used in this project.

Dynamic building changing shape
This project has been prepared by Isha Acharya, Dhruvil Patel, Yesha Sharma, Dharmishtha Rathwa, Harshil Patel, Aditya Vyas. The architecture of this dynamic building is designed in such a way that it changes its shape. With constant rotation. This building never looks the same. The building is completely solar powered.
