DRI action: 42 crore heroin seized from woman at airport, Zimbabwean woman arrested following news

A female passenger from Zimbabwe was picked up by the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) from Ahmedabad airport with drugs. The woman found 6 kg (Rs 43 crore) of heroin drugs in four plastic bags of brown powder hidden in the chassis of her handbag. The DRI has arrested the woman and is conducting further investigations.

DRI officials arrested the woman from the airport on April 12, who had arrived in Ahmedabad from Abu Dhabi, based on information received by the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence that a woman from Zimbabwe was arriving at the Ahmedabad airport carrying drugs with her. A search of his personal belongings turned up Rs. He was arrested after 5.968 kg of heroin worth Rs 42 crore was found in a plastic bag.
