Shubman Gill's record-breaking storming innings at the Namo Stadium

Team India’s star opener batsman Shubman Gill has scored his maiden century in T20 Internationals. Shubham completed his century in just 54 balls. Before this, he did not perform much in the two matches of the series but created a sensation by scoring a century in the Ahmedabad T20.
Shubman Gill flopped in the first two matches of the T20 series against New Zealand (IND vs NZ). But Gill scored a century in the third match of the series. Gill played his first T20 International against Sri Lanka last month. Not even a fifty came out of his bat before this match.

He completed his century with the help of a four. He completed his fifty in 35 balls. After this Gill started scoring at a rapid pace. Before this he scored only one century in domestic T20.
Greatest Indian innings
Shubman Gill became the 7th Indian male batsman to score a century in T20 Internationals. Before that, Suresh Raina, Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul, Virat Kohli, Deepak Hooda and Suryakumar Yadav have scored T20 centuries for India. Gill was unbeaten on 126 off 63 balls. He hit 12 fours and 7 sixes. This is the highest innings by any Indian batsman in T20 Internationals. Virat Kohli scored 122 runs against Afghanistan.
Did a great job in ODIs too
Shubman Gill has made a splash in ODI cricket as well. Gill scored a double century with the bat in the ODI series against New Zealand. Before this he also scored a century against Sri Lanka. He is also the fastest batsman to score 1000 runs in ODIs for India. But he could not do anything special in the first 5 T20 International matches of his career. But he made up for it in one match.
