Gujarat Rain Forecast : Once again a big update has come out regarding rain in Gujarat. In fact, the depression created along the coast of Odisha will affect Gujarat. Moving towards west and northwest direction, it has reached near Gujarat. Due to which, orange alert has been predicted somewhere in the state and yellow alert somewhere. It is to be noted that due to the rains in the previous days, scenes of desolation were created across the state and especially in South Gujarat and Saurashtra. However, now once again the forecast of rain has come out.
The depression created along the coast of Odisha will affect Gujarat. Talking about the current situation, this depression has reached near Gujarat moving towards west and northwest direction. In this direction, orange alert has been predicted somewhere in the state and yellow alert somewhere. In which heavy rain is predicted especially in some districts of East Central and Saurashtra, orange alert of rain has been given in the districts of South Gujarat.
Chance of moderate to heavy rain in South Gujarat
Moderate to heavy rain is likely in the districts of South Gujarat due to the depression formed over the coast of Odisha. Winds of up to 40 kmph are likely to blow over the state due to the impact of the depression. On this side, rainy weather is being seen in some districts of the state since early morning. Along with this, there is a possibility of rain in Gandhidham, Una, Mandvi and Dwarka today and rain may also occur in Jamnagar, Salaya, Porbandar and Veraval. Importantly, rain has been predicted in Una, Mahuwa and Alang for the next 2 days.
Heavy rain alert in 20 states today

Life has been badly affected due to heavy rains in South India. Realizing the seriousness of the situation, PM Modi and the Home Minister spoke to the Chief Ministers of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana and took information. The central government has assured all possible help to the states. Many trains have been cancelled. These states include Rajasthan, Haryana, Chandigarh, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Sikkim, West Bengal and the northeastern states of Manipur, Assam, Nagaland, Tripura, Arunachal Pradesh.
Central team will visit Gujarat
Team formed for Gujarat The Union Home Ministry has formed a disaster-ministry team to assess the damage caused by rains and floods in Gujarat. It is headed by the Executive Director of the National Institute of Disaster Management. The team will soon visit the flood affected districts of the state.
