Gujarat Rain: Orange alert in four districts of North and South Gujarat till 1 pm today

AHMEDABAD: Rainy weather is prevailing in most parts of Gujarat, but it is not raining heavily. According to the Meteorological Department, there is currently a Monsoon trough near Bikaner in Rajasthan due to which Gujarat is receiving normal rainfall. According to the information provided by the Meteorological Department, an orange alert has been given in four districts till one o’clock today (August 13). According to the weather map provided by the Meteorological Department, Orange Alert has been given in Banaskantha, Sabarkantha in North Gujarat and Surat and Tapi in South Gujarat today i.e. Tuesday. The Meteorological Department has forecast general thundershowers and wind gusting to 40 kmph in these four districts. Along with this, normal rainfall is predicted.

According to the weather map, light rain is forecast in all the districts apart from the above four districts. There is no forecast of thunder with this.

According to the information, according to Monday’s (24 hours) rainfall statistics, a total of 182 talukas have received rain. In which the maximum rainfall of four and a half inches has fallen in Navsari. While Umarpada and Anand of Surat have received three inches of rain. Along with this, more than two inches of rain has been recorded in Dabhoi, Halol and Dolwan.
