Rain with strong winds in Ahmedabad, heavy to very heavy rain forecast in the state for the next four days

Heay Rain In Gujarat: Ahmedabad is experiencing heavy rain for the last three days. While some areas of Ahmedabad had received rain on Wednesday, it has started raining again with heavy winds today afternoon. The SG highways including Prahladnagar, Makarba, Thaltej, Pakwan Char Rasta, Gujarat High Court, Gota, Sola in Ahmedabad have received rain. Scenes of traffic jam were created due to rain. On the other hand, the meteorological department has predicted heavy to very heavy rains in Gujarat for the next four days.

While rainy weather has settled in Ahmedabad, most parts of the city are receiving heavy rains. In which there has been good rain in SG highway areas including Prahladnagar, Makarba, Thaltej, Pakwan Char Rasta, Gujarat High Court, Gota, Sola. Along with this, torrential rain has started in areas including Vejalpur, Science City, Sheelaj, Vaishnadevi, Shivaranjani, Chandkheda, Dhuma, Bhopal, Ambali, Juhapura, Shyamal, University Road, Bhadaj, Ranip, Wadaj, Panchavati, Mithakhali.While it is raining heavily in the western part of the city. On the other hand, inundation problem has arisen in areas including Prahladnagar following heavy rains.

Heavy to very heavy rains have been predicted in the state for the next four days in many areas of South Gujarat and Saurashtra by the Meteorological Department, Orange and Yellow Alerts have been issued following heavy to very heavy rains in some areas of Saurashtra including most of South Gujarat till August 05. Orange alert has been declared in Surat, Navsari, Valsad, Dang, Bharuch, Narmad, Bhavnagar districts and yellow alert in Kutch, Banaskantha, Amreli, Gir Somnath districts.While today (August 01) yellow alert has been announced due to heavy rain at scattered places in Bharuch, Surat, Tapi, Navsari, Dang, Valsad districts. Apart from this, there will be light to moderate rains in Central Gujarat and North Gujarat.
