BJP leader in Gujarat embroiled in degree controversy, showing different details in candidature form-biodata

Lok Sabha Elections 2024: Recently, a fierce battle is going on between various political parties including BJP and Congress for the Lok Sabha Elections 2024. Candidates are confirming their nomination by filling the forms on various seats. Among all these, some candidates are getting involved in controversies due to the information disclosed by the candidates. One such case has happened with a BJP candidate from Surendranagar. He has been accused by the Congress of degrees.

Discrepancies have been seen in the degree of BJP candidate in Surendranagar. Allegedly different degrees were shown in their candidature forms and resumes, there has been an uproar. BJP candidate Chandubhai Shihora listed his degree as BE Civil Engineer in his resume. While filling the candidature form, in the affidavit submitted by him, he mentioned that he has passed class 12.

Congress filed protest…

As soon as this matter came up, the Congress started making accusations. The Congress alleged that Chandubhai presented himself as an engineering graduate despite not having a degree. However, as the controversy grew, BJP candidate Chandubhai revealed that he had not completed his studies as a BE Civil Engineer. That’s why he mentioned 12th pass in the candidature form. On behalf of the Congress, Ritvik Makwana hit out at the matter and said that BJP is trying to attract the voters wrongly by fixing the degree of the candidates.
