Royal Challengers Bangalore’s star wicketkeeper Dinesh Karthik hit the longest six of IPL 2024 against Sunrisers Hyderabad on Monday. Karthik hit a six of 108 meters towards square leg off T Natarajan. Dinesh Karthik broke the record of the longest six of IPL 2024 within two hours. Karthik played an excellent inning of 83 runs.
Sports Desk, New Delhi. Dinesh Karthik hit the longest six of IPL 2024 against Sunrisers Hyderabad on Monday. Karthik hit a six of 108 meters towards square leg off T Natarajan at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium. The video of this six has gone viral on social media.
Dinesh Karthik played an aerial shot on the leg side on the first ball of the 16th over of the innings by T Natarajan. This shot had so much power that the ball hit the roof of the stadium and returned. Sunrisers Hyderabad captain Pat Cummins was stunned after seeing this shot of Karthik. The expressions on his face were worth seeing.

Dinesh Karthik has made the record of scoring the longest six in IPL 2024. He broke Heinrich Klaasen’s record of six distance of 106 meters within two hours. By the way, apart from Klaasen, Venkatesh Iyer of Kolkata Knight Riders and Nicholas Puran of Lucknow Supergiants also hit a six of a distance of 106 meters.
