Sunrisers Hyderabad all-rounder Nitish Reddy won the hearts of fans with his stormy batting against Punjab Kings in IPL 2024. Reddy was adjudged Player of the Match for his excellent performance. Nitish Kumar Reddy once worked as a net bowler for Chennai Super Kings. He has worked hard in the nets with MS Dhoni.

Even though Reddy played 2 matches for Hyderabad last season, he did not show any fear on the opposing team. Nitish Reddy did not bat in IPL 2023, while bowling he gave away 54 runs in 5 overs and did not even take any wicket.
Despite the last season not being good, SRH kept faith in Reddy and he lived up to the expectations of the team. Reddy showed a glimpse of this by playing a quick inning of 14 runs against CSK. Reddy did not get a chance to bowl in that match. But against Punjab, Reddy got a chance to show his all-round style.
Coming at number-4 against Punjab, Reddy had a very slow start. He scored 14 runs in the first 17 balls. But then he hit two fours and a six in Harpreet Brar’s over. After this Reddy did not look back. Reddy completed his first half-century in 32 balls.
