Vaibhav Suryavanshi breaks Rohit Sharma's record by scoring a triple century in ODIs, the first Indian cricketer to do this feat
Vaibhav Suryavanshi has made a world record by scoring a triple century in ODI cricket. Vaibhav became the first Indian cricketer to score a triple century in ODI cricket. He broke the record of Indian team captain Rohit Sharma (264). Let us tell you that Vaibhav Suryavanshi, while representing Samastipur, scored an unbeaten 332 runs in 178 balls against Saharsa.
Jasan, Behat (Begusarai). Samastipur batsman Vaibhav Suryavanshi created a world record by scoring an unbeaten triple century in the Randhir Verma U-19 ODI tournament organized by the Bihar Cricket Association on Sunday.
Earlier Ali Brown scored a record 268 against Glamorgan for Surrey in a 2002 county first-class ODI match. By the way, India’s Rohit Sharma has scored the highest 264 runs in ODIs. Vaibhav is the first Indian to score a triple century in ODI cricket.
The only triple century in this format so far has come in visually impaired cricket tournaments. On 14 June 2022, Australia’s Stephen Nero created history by scoring the first triple century in ODI cricket against New Zealand in Brisbane. Nero scored an unbeaten 309 in 140 balls.
At the same time, Vaibhav Suryavanshi played an explosive innings of 332 runs in 178 balls and remained unbeaten. With his contribution, Samastipur defeated Saharsa by a huge margin of 281 runs.
