PM Modi said that DMK has not done anything to protect the interests of Tamil Nadu and has only made statements. The PM said that he only cares that his own sons and daughters move ahead.

PM Modi has once again reacted regarding the Katchatheevu island issue. This time Prime Minister Modi has raised questions on DMK. PM Modi said that DMK has not done anything to protect the interests of Tamil Nadu, only made statements.
PM Modi lashed out at DMK
PM Modi made a post on X. Apart from making statements, DMK has done nothing to protect the interests of Tamil Nadu, he said. The new report on Katchatheevu island has completely exposed the double standards of DMK. Congress and DMK are just family units. They only care that their own sons and daughters move ahead. They don’t care about anyone else. Their indifference on Katchatheevu has harmed the interests of our poor fishermen and women.
PM Modi also shared a statement of late DMK MP Era Sezhiyan. In which he expressed his displeasure over the India-Sri Lanka maritime agreement signed by the then Indira Gandhi government.
PM Modi had criticized Congress
This statement of Prime Minister Modi has come at a time when he had targeted Congress over the issue of giving Katchatheevu island to Sri Lanka during the tenure of Indira Gandhi government in 1974. While sharing a report, Prime Minister Modi had said that Congress can never be trusted. He also accused the Congress of undermining the unity, integrity and interests of India during the years of its rule.
