According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rain is likely in Delhi, NCR, Punjab, UP, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Bihar today. Today, the maximum temperature in the capital could be 27 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature 19 degrees Celsius. Apart from this, there may be light rain in Bihar, Odisha, Maharashtra. Heavy winds along with rain are likely in nearby areas of Bharatpur, Dhaulpur, Karauli, Sawaimadhopur, Kota, Baran, Jhalawad, Jaisalmer, Bikaner, Chittorgarh, Udaipur districts of Rajasthan.

Western Disturbance causes unseasonal rains

According to the Meteorological Department, apart from Delhi, Jammu and Kashmir, Uttarakhand may also receive rain with heavy winds. This type of weather is likely to remain for the next four days. Unseasonal rain is falling due to Western Disturbance. The atmosphere will start clearing from May 8. Weather may remain like this till May 5 in Western Himalayan states. The impact of climate change will be seen in central Indian states and rains are expected in these states as well. Which includes some areas of West Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh states.
