According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rain is likely in Delhi, NCR, Punjab, UP, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Bihar today. Today, the maximum temperature in the capital could be 27 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature 19 degrees Celsius. Apart from this, there may be light rain in Bihar, Odisha, Maharashtra. Heavy winds along with rain are likely in nearby areas of Bharatpur, Dhaulpur, Karauli, Sawaimadhopur, Kota, Baran, Jhalawad, Jaisalmer, Bikaner, Chittorgarh, Udaipur districts of Rajasthan.
Western Disturbance causes unseasonal rains

Unseasonal rain is falling due to Western Disturbance. The atmosphere will start clearing from May 8. Weather may remain like this till May 5 in Western Himalayan states.
