Atiq's bye road trip to UP again - UP police reached Sabarmati jail with a warrant

A team of UP Police has again reached Gujarat’s Sabarmati Jail today. It is being told that the UP Police will bring Atiq Ahmed to Prayagraj for questioning in the Umesh Pal murder case. In this case, Prayagraj police had already obtained a B warrant from the court. No date was fixed on this warrant, but the police have also taken permission from the court to interrogate Atiq in jail and record a statement in an old case.

According to information, on the B warrant, the police will bring Atiq to Prayagraj and get his judicial custody in the Umesh Pal murder case. After this, the police will file an application in court to take them into their custody. Indeed, the UP Police is preparing to seek police custody remand of Atiq Ahmed.
