Tragedy in Maharashtra's Akola, 7 dead, 30 more injured due to falling sheet shed of temple

An accident took place in Paras village of Balapur taluka of Akola district of Maharashtra on Sunday evening. Due to heavy rain and strong wind, a lemon tree fell on the shed of a temple. Due to which a big tragedy occurred. Seven people died in this accident. At least 30 more people were injured in the accident.
After heavy rains in Akola district, an old lemon tree fell on a shed of Babuji Maharaj Mandir Sansthan. Locals reached the spot and pulled out the people trapped under the fallen shed.
According to the information received, police force and ambulance also reached the place of incident. A rescue and relief operation was started. The injured were rushed to the hospital. JCB machines were used to lift broken trees and fallen sheds.
District Collector Neema Aroda confirmed the incident to news agency ANI. He said that seven people have died in the incident. While 30-40 people have been injured. The injured have been admitted to a hospital where they are undergoing treatment.
