RCB cricketers could not survive against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) spinners Varun Chakraborty, Suyyash Sharma and Sunil Narine. Cricketers like Virat Kohli, Glenn Maxwell and captain Faf du Plessis lost to spinners. Virat Kohli scored just 21 off 18 balls and was bowled by Sunil Narine. After RCB’s defeat, Virat Kohli was seen having fun with Bollywood actor and KKR co-owner Shah Rukh Khan.

Chasing a target of 205 runs, RCB lost 4 wickets for just 54 runs. 3 spin bowlers of KKR took 9 wickets of RCB. Spinner Varun Chakraborty took 4 wickets for 15 runs. Suyesh Sharma, who made his debut in this match, took 3 wickets for 30 runs and Sunil Narine took 2 wickets for 16 runs.
